Introduction
Synalux LLC (“Synalux,” “we,” “our”) operates the Synalux POS platform (pos.synalux.ai). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you interact with restaurants that use our platform.
Information we collect
- Phone number — provided via caller ID, WhatsApp, or a web form. Caller ID or order entry alone does not authorize SMS; direct Synalux POS texts require a separate affirmative web opt-in.
- Name — provided during the ordering process for order identification.
- Email address — optionally provided for email receipts.
- Order details — items ordered, order total, payment status.
- Payment information — processed securely by the integrated payment processor selected by the restaurant. Synalux does not store complete card numbers.
How we use your information
- To process and fulfill your restaurant orders.
- To send direct Synalux POS transactional SMS only after affirmative opt-in (confirmation, payment link, receipt, pickup or delivery notification, and customer-care response).
- To send email receipts when requested.
- To improve our ordering system and customer experience.
We do not use your information for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information and messaging consent
We do not share, sell, or transfer your mobile phone number, messaging consent, or opt-in data to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.
Your phone number is used solely for the direct Synalux POS transactional program described in our SMS Policy. Consent remains active until you reply STOP and does not authorize appointment, healthcare, AAC, authentication, marketing, age-gated, or downstream client-branded traffic.
Data sharing
We share personal information only with:
- The restaurant you are ordering from — to prepare and fulfill your order.
- Integrated payment processors — the restaurant's configured processor, for secure payment processing.
- Twilio — our messaging provider, for SMS and WhatsApp message delivery.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Data retention
Order data is retained for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us at privacy@synalux.ai.
Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure processing through PCI-compliant integrated payment processors, and access controls on our systems.
Your rights
- Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out of messaging.
- Request access to or deletion of your personal data.
